10 new electric tractors
port shuttle goes electric
In 2026 Taixin commissioned 10 new energy electric tractors dedicated to Yantian port shuttle and yard transfer — the first step in our transition from conventional capacity to green logistics.

Why we moved the shuttle
to electric
Zero tailpipe emissions in port
Electric tractors produce no tailpipe emissions during shuttle work, directly reducing the diesel exhaust and noise that port communities live with.
Steady shuttle cycles
Short, high-frequency port loops suit electric drivetrains. With a charging roster the tractors run around the clock without waiting for refuelling.
Lower cost per box
Electricity costs less per kilometre than diesel, and fewer moving parts mean less maintenance — savings we can pass into shuttle rates.
Same safety standard
Electric units are operated by the same certified drivers under the same pre-trip inspection and supervision rules as the diesel fleet.

Electric for the port,
diesel for the road
Electric tractors handle the short, repetitive port loops where zero emissions and steady cycles matter most. The diesel fleet continues to carry long-haul linehaul where range and payload still favour it. Together they give customers a lower-carbon option without compromising reach.
- Electric: Yantian port shuttle, yard transfer, empty container repositioning
- Diesel: nationwide linehaul, oversize and hazmat routes
- One dispatch desk assigns both, one price structure, one POD process
